Welcome to Wahroonga Place Care Community

Wahroonga Place Care Community is conveniently located on Sydney's leafy upper north shore and is a happy and loving place for people from all walks of life. Local shops and amenities are close by, with easy access to public transport routes. We have strong ties to the local community, including volunteers and local schools. We encourage loved ones to be involved in our Wahroonga Place life and residents take pleasure in organising activities of their choice. Our diverse mix of cultural heritage is a point of connection for residents and team, and our companion model of care fosters a sense of family and belonging.

Care at Wahroonga Place

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership works alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support, and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Wahroonga Place

Musical gatherings, card groups, arts and crafts, a sewing circle, and our monthly intergenerational playgroup are just some of the interests that bring our residents joy. Sharing their cultural heritage through the food is important to our residents, and our residents and chefs choose our menus together. Our resident-run social committee ensures there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Wahroonga Place life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

My father has recently taken permanent care at Wahroonga Place. From the moment I walked through the door I felt so much admiration towards all the staff. They have taken the time to talk with us regarding how they can manage individual needs and to date they are far exceeding all my expectations. The care and respect shown is amazing and I can now be at ease that my father is in exceptional hands. Thank you to John, Sunny. Prabin and all the wonderful members of staff for all your care.
