At Western Port Bay Care Community we encourage our residents to live a life of meaning and purpose. Situated on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, south-east of Melbourne, our Care Community is just a few minutes from the cafes and amenities of Tyabb. We offer beautiful living spaces in a modern yet homely environment with personalised care delivered by our experienced team. Our light-filled courtyards and spacious lounge areas are designed for indoor and outdoor living, ideal for spending time with loved ones and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Care at Western Port Bay

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

My sister was a resident at WPBCC for 3 years. The residence is lovely and modern with lots of light and enticing outdoor areas. The staff are very welcoming and it really does feel like a community. The care she received was outstanding, particularly during her last few weeks. They were caring and compassionate and did everything possible to keep her comfortable. She referred to the careers as ‘her girls’ and thought of them as her family. I highly recommend WPBCC and can’t thank them enough for their kindness and care.

Grateful to the staff who have cared for mum here for the past 18 months with so much respect, kindness and dignity after it was no longer safe for mum to live independently. We recently celebrated mum’s 90th birthday in one of the lovely lounge areas at this facility. It was fabulous for mum to have her children, extended family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren be able to come and celebrate her birthday with her at the facility. For mum this felt like a celebration at home. The staff helped make mums milestone birthday a very special occasion, thank you all for your ongoing kindness and support.

Dad had looked at many facilities in the area but made his decision for mum immediately after his visit to Western Port Bay Care Community in Tyabb. The welcome and organisation to have mum admitted was flawless. The care from the doctor, nurses and carers was thorough, warm and specific to mums changing needs. The carers were so attentive and kind. Specialists such as speech pathologist were brought in to assess mums changing needs as required. And in mums final weeks the team were fully aware and extremely supportive of the family and mums greater needs. What a wonderful facility that I would highly recommend. Thankyou all for looking after mum, Sandra, the Dancing Queen
