Welcome to Orange Grove Care Community

Orange Grove Care Community is located in the thriving NSW Central West city of Orange, our Care Community is nestled in a quiet residential street with easy access to shops, cafes and amenities. We are a family-oriented community, and our Care Community combines country charm with modern technology and a welcoming atmosphere. Loved ones enjoy celebrating milestones large and small in our private dining room, and our spacious courtyards and landscaped gardens are ideal for socialising over a cup of tea or enjoying quiet moments of reflection. 

Care at Orange Grove

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership works alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Orange Grove

Our Men's Shed offers activities and companionship for our male residents who enjoy hands-on construction projects that support our local community. TV nights, listening to music, playing cards, crafting, and connecting with children in our local playgroup are just some of the things that bring our residents joy. We encourage residents to pursue their interests be it music, art or Virtual or Augmented Reality experiences that support cognition and reminiscence. It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Orange Grove life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

I have nothing but praise for the Orange Grove Care Community. They have done everything in their power to help Mum and Dad during a very difficult in their lives. From the first time I approached with a request for accommodation, all staff have done their utmost to meet our needs. The rooms are beautiful, clean and generous in size. The meals are generous and tasty, served by happy staff. The nursing staff are compassionate while trying to co ordinate patient needs and doctor requests. Maintenance staff are quick to help if the need arises. Mum and Dad enjoyed the activities and were encouraged to join the rest of the residents at these times. Whenever there was a problem, my request for assistance was dealt with without a problem. Unfortunately, Mum passed away after only 5 weeks as a resident. I cannot express my gratitude to all staff who cared for Mum at this sad time. They treated Mum with dignity and respect, ensuring that Mum was comfortable and pain free and that we were able to grieve as we needed. I could not be happier to have Dad cared for in this place.

All the reviews are lies.My mother even after court order for drug to be stopped they continue to give it to her, she has declined severely since being there and is being drugged to keep her asleep. She has no life and when I do call thwy hang up. Terrible place especially if it's their finL days being drugged constantly. They are inhumane the Pet pound has more compassion.

Our residents’ health and wellbeing is always our first priority and we follow all the regulatory guidelines that apply to residential aged care. In doing so, it’s important that we always respect the wishes and choices of our residents and we balance this carefully with their clinical care needs. This includes having a registered nurse in charge on every shift, morning, afternoon and evening. As always, I’m happy to discuss your experience with us in further detail if you would like to. The care and loving support that was given to our Mother and Mother in law was beyond excellence. The staff were amazing, caring, loving and so supportive of our family through this deeply sad time. We would highly recommend them. We cannot fault the care given and received. Thank you so very much.
