How To Improve Mobility
31st March 2022 | 3 minsMarj moved to Carine Parkside Care Community earlier in the year following surgery for a fractured kneecap. She quickly set her mind to improve mobility and achieve her goal of walking again by attending one on one physio sessions and group exercise classes that focus on falls and balance training at our onsite wellness centre.
She visits three times a week and enjoys the chat with her fellow residents and being a part of a tight-knit and caring community, Marj has lent her support to improving mobility in other elderly residents and to achieving their own wellness goals. For Marj, being able to walk again has meant she can maintain her social connections both within her home and in the wider community.
In a similar story Doreen moved to Quakers Hillside Care Community for respite services care and had severe knee pain. She has now regained her functional mobility through rehabilitation at our wellness centre and is happy to be back participating in her favourite activities at Quakers Hillside. Read more of her story here.
