Today we warmly welcome our new team, residents and families of Gawler Hillside Care Community in Gawler, South Australia to the Opal HealthCare family.
Formerly known as Gawler Grande Views, Gawler Hillside Care Community is now owned and operated by Opal HealthCare.
Nestled in the Gawler East hills with sweeping views over the historic town, Gawler Hillside Care Community offers 126 single residential rooms with ensuites in a modern Care Community with the latest amenities. The Care Community features contemporary living spaces and a spacious outdoor terrace. The hub of Gawler Hillside is its bustling café, where residents, families and visitors enjoy socialising over a cuppa and cake.
Opal HealthCare Regional General Manager, South Australia, Victoria South, said today she was excited that residents in Adelaide’s north-east and the Barossa Valley now have the opportunity to enjoy Opal HealthCare’s high-quality, personalised care.
“We believe ageing is living. Our care is centred on a deep understanding of each resident’s needs and preferences, and how they like to live their day. It’s about empathy, quality of life, and belonging,” Victoria said.
“We are delighted that the majority of team have chosen to join Opal HealthCare and will continue to care for the residents who know and love them. We welcome everyone with open arms and look forward to getting to know them in the coming weeks and months.”
All team members will have access to the sector-leading Opal HealthCare Academy, which provides ongoing training and development programs, building the best skills and experience to provide high quality care.
Opal HealthCare has six residential aged Care Communities in South Australia, located between Gawler, north of Adelaide, and Aldinga Beach to the south.
