Stay safe from recruitment scams

At Opal HealthCare, the safety and trust of people who want to join our team is important to us.
Recruitment scams are unfortunately becoming more common. These scams may involve individuals or organisations pretending to represent legitimate employers to collect personal information or request payments.
We want to help you stay informed and protected when applying for roles with us.
How to protect yourself:
- Check the source
Always apply through the official Opal HealthCare website or trusted job platforms. Be cautious of unsolicited job offers received via email, text message or social media. - Research the opportunity
Look up the organisation online and verify details such as the website, contact information and online presence. - Look out for warning signs
Be cautious of: -- Poor spelling or grammar in communications
- Requests without clear contact details
- Offers that seem too good to be true
- Pressure to act quickly
- Protect your personal information
Never share sensitive information such as your bank details, identification documents or passwords unless you are certain the role is legitimate. - We will never ask for payment
Opal HealthCare will never request payment at any stage of the recruitment process.
If you're unsure
If you receive a job offer or communication claiming to be from Opal HealthCare and are unsure if it is legitimate, please contact our team directly to verify at people@opalhealthcare.com.au
