Kardinia Parkside is in the heart of Geelong, Victoria and perfectly located a short walk from the iconic Kardinia Park Precinct. Residents and their families can enjoy being close to Geelong's waterfront, local cafés and Westfield Geelong.

Care at Kardinia Parkside

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily Living at Kardinia Parkside

Enjoy all kinds of creative pursuits, be it music groups, arts or crafts, and even friendly table games. Our piano is a drawcard for music lovers, either playing or simply relaxing and listening to tunes from across the ages. Our light filled central courtyard is a source of pleasure for many, ideal for chatting with family and friends. With us, you’re free to pursue your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Kardinia Parkside life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

Our on-site Chef creates nutritious home-style meals cooked fresh each day in welcoming communal spaces and we offer a variety of comfortable single rooms, each with private en-suite bathrooms. We have a hair and beauty salon and billiard room for residents enjoyment.

Hi Sarah, thank you for organising today and last visit too. You are an asset to Kardinia Parkside Care Community, your people skills reflect throughout the environment and in all your staff. Leaving dad with you guys today felt so nice. No regrets, no worry, only a good feeling. He looked comfortable and satisfied with where he is, it was as though we left him with family. Kath at the front desk and the friendly and caring staff all added to the easy, laid back feel and the transition from hospital to kardinia parkside. ( thank you Kathy for helping me with the paper work process). Dad also felt familiar, coming back to his old room. Seeing Karen was the cherry on top. I hadn't seen her since high school. Was lovely. Your group generate such a lovely vibe within your home, its truely a blessing for all of us Thank you Kindest regards Lily & family

Our duo played at Kardinia Parkside for happy hour today. What beautiful place it is, so vibrant with a big family atmosphere, very impressive. The staff were amazing, so welcoming. The residents were a delight! Wheelchair bound or not, they moved and grooved. Loved it, cannot wait to return ! xxx

I would thoroughly recommend placing your loved one here. My mother is currently a resident within the Kardinia Parkside community. Since joining, the staff have actively engaged her in activities that suit her needs and abilities. This has given her a purpose and has improved her health considerable. She looks younger, is more active and is a lot better health than before when she was at home. The staff are amazing, from the administration staff, the cleaners and all the PCA’s and Nurses. Doctors visit onsite and an RN is onsite and will visit at the drop of a hat. They serve a wide variety of food, have fantastic facilities and the rooms are quite spacious. The underground car park makes it easy to visit and if you have a question, everyone is happy to help! It gives me great peace of mind to know that my mum is safe and sound.

A friend of mine has not had a happy time. Had to wait forever for staff to take him to toilet and was abused by staff because they were too busy. Pain relief was withheld and only reinstated when his doctor phoned. Relatives were not notified when he was sent to hospital until they phoned to enquire about him. Not a happy place. What a shame to be treated so poorly at end of life.
