Regaining mobility after stroke
15th November 2022 | 5 minsAs the matriarch of her large extended family, Fina has always cared for others, but the setback of experiencing a stroke, which resulted in partial paralysis, meant that it was time for her to focus on her own wellbeing and gaining as much mobility after her stroke as possible.
At her new home at Bankstown Terrace Care Community, Fina has been able to work on regaining her mobility in our integrated wellness centre. Fina’s inspiring story shows that with her determination and the person-centred support of our dedicated physio team, her goal of regaining her independence is getting closer every day. Her family could not be more proud of their Nonna.
