My goal is to walk again
15th May 2022 | 5 minsRene was among our first group of residents to call Winston Hillside Care Community home. Having experienced falls while living in her own home, Rene thought Winston Hillside with its integrated wellness centre was the perfect choice when she decided it was time to consider her next move.
Not only has Rene found friendship and a sense of community but being able to focus on increasing her mobility has had a profound effect on her quality of life. For Rene, being able to walk just a few steps gives her the dignity and independence that comes with caring for herself.
Watch Rene as she shares her story.
