Waverley Valley Care Community

Waverley Valley in Glen Waverley, Victoria is located on the doorstep of the peaceful Glen Waverley North Reserve. Our Care Community offers a truly welcoming and serene atmosphere. Enjoy beautiful walks in the park and outings to nearby restaurants and shops including The Glen shopping mall.

Care at Waverley Valley

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership works alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Waverley Valley Living

Our in-house Chef creates nutritious home-style meals cooked fresh each day or you can pop downstairs to our on-site café. Our warm and inclusive Care Community will support you to engage in things you enjoy, whether it's exercise groups, outings, or creative pursuits such as singing, music, arts and crafts. With us you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Waverley Valley life –so you can enjoy your day, your way. We offer a variety of spacious and light-filled single and companion rooms, each with private en-suite bathrooms. Residents can relax in our landscaped courtyards, which are ideal for spending time with family and friends or having quiet moments of reflection. We also have a hair and beauty salon, and a billiard room for resident's enjoyment.

The team at Waverley Valley assisted me immensely during a very difficult time with my father. They really and absolutely went above and beyond what one can expect. Their kindness and compassion, willingness to solve problems, accommodate approaches and all-round humanity makes this team wonderful to deal with. We know from his participation and comments that my dad was absolutely happy during his stay here. If I am ever lucky enough to be able to live here, I would do so gladly. Dad moved into Waverley Valley Care Community after significant medical issues and had always dreaded going into care. The staff actively involved him in activities from the start, and his mood lifted over time. He adjusted much better than we thought he would due to this. Staff were kind and caring, particularly when dad became ill again, and passed away. Many thanks to the staff who looked after Dad, and made his last couple of years as good as they could have been.

My father became a resident of Waverley Valley Care Community (WVCC) in 2024 following a significant shift in his health. Since his initial stay for Respite, the team at WVCC have embraced and supported him in every possible way. The medical and nursing care has been excellent and enabled him to regain an improved health position. We are always fully briefed on any health changes of Dad's health to ensure we know exactly what is happening. The genuine care, support and interest of the entire team at WVCC has been outstanding and has definitely assisted our family through challenging times.

The most disrespectful action yet was when a gentleman who had been at the residence for five years passed away during the week. He passed away early morning and by 10am they had already cleared his room and had tradesman in painting his room ready for next person to move in. This action is not only disrespectful to the person who died but to the other elderly residents who live there. It shows them that as soon as they die the same will happen with their room within hours of them leaving.
