Welcome to Stanmore Place Care Community

Stanmore Place Care Community is located in a quiet residential area in Sydney's Inner West, our Care Community is just 5km from the CBD and close to public transport. Our sheltered courtyard is a cosy place to catch up with family and friends or enjoy moments of quiet reflection. Our diverse mix of cultural heritage is a point of connection for residents and team, and our companion model of care fosters a sense of family and belonging so that everyone feels at home.

Care at Stanmore Place

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Stanmore Place

Our Care Community is a close-knit and loving place for people from all walks of life. Our musical residents playing the piano, singing or simply listening to tunes old and new. Our Men's Club provides opportunities for friendships to grow, with residents bonding over gardening, board games or conversations over a coffee or beer. Our chef is known for cooking up delicious meals that satisfy all kinds of tastes.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Stanmore Place life –so you can enjoy your day, your way.

My brother has been a resident at Stanmore Place for more than 2 years and is happy there. He says he enjoys the food, the bus trips and the entertainment. The staff are very good to him and he is grateful for the many services, such as hairdresser, optician and dentist, that are available to him. I am kept informed of his progress both by the monthly newsletter and the occasional personal email. My brother has no complaints and is doing well. I am very grateful to all the staff at the care community, particularly as l live abroad and am unable to visit.
