Bethania Parklands Care Community

Today we warmly welcome our new team, residents and families of Bethania Parklands Care Community in Bethania, Queensland to the Opal HealthCare family.

Formerly known as Jeta Gardens Aged Care, Bethania Parklands Care Community is now owned and operated by Opal HealthCare. Set on a bend of the Logan River on a 64-acre precinct, Bethania Parklands is co-located with Jeta Gardens Retirement Village (owned and run by KPJ Healthcare). It provides 178 residential places, all single rooms with private ensuite.

Bethania Parklands Care Community is set in a residential suburb south of Brisbane and has the luxury of expansive parklands within the grounds, including a beautiful lake with walking path and bridge. The Care Community consists of two inviting and spacious buildings named The Lakes and The Grove, with lovely light filled living areas adjoined by courtyard gardens. And there’s a spacious Clubhouse with café and entertaining space, which we will share with the Retirement Village. It is a truly special place.

Bethania Parklands was previously part of the co-located Jeta Gardens Retirement Village, also owned by KPJ Healthcare. We will continue to nurture the important relationships between our residents and their loved ones and neighbours in the Retirement Village, and in the local surrounds, to ensure a thriving intergenerational community into the future.

Opal Healthcare CEO Rachel Argaman said today she was delighted that Logan residents would now have another Opal Healthcare option in the Logan district.

“For us, aged care isn’t just about buildings or a lifestyle choice, it’s about empathy, quality of life, and belonging,” Ms Argaman said.

“Enabling people to remain living in their community as they age, with access to the right care and support when they need it, is vital to wellbeing. We will continue to nurture the strong connections between residents at Bethania Parklands Care Community and Jeta Gardens Retirement Village for the benefit of residents, families, and the Logan community.”

“Importantly, the majority of team from Jeta Gardens Aged Care have chosen to move across to Opal HealthCare so they can continue to provide dedicated and compassionate care for our residents.”

All team members will have access to the sector-leading Opal HealthCare Academy, which provides ongoing training and development programs, building the best skills and experience to provide high quality care.

Opal HealthCare has 17 residential aged care communities in South East Queensland between the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.
