AACG’s residential aged care officially becomes part of Opal HealthCare
1st September 2025 | 3 minsAustralian Aged Care Group Pty Ltd’s (AACG) three residential aged care communities in Victoria today officially became part of Opal HealthCare, one of Australia’s leading aged care providers.
The union of two highly regarded aged care providers means Opal HealthCare now offers care to older people at 56 Care Communities in Victoria.
Opal HealthCare’s purpose is “to bring joy to those we care for” and its services are underpinned by its values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
Opal HealthCare CEO Rachel Argaman is delighted to welcome AACG’s aged care team, residents and representatives into the Opal HealthCare family.
“We're privileged to be entrusted with the extraordinary legacy of Australian Aged Care Group, to bring three outstanding Care Communities, their residents and team, into our Opal HealthCare family,” she said.

The three aged care communities are Phillip Island Grove Care Community, located in the seaside town of Cowes, Mount Eliza Botanica Care Community on the Mornington Peninsula, and Kew Botanica Care Community, in the heart of Melbourne.
Team members will benefit from more training and development opportunities through the sector leading Opal HealthCare Academy. It offers defined career pathways through aged care, supported by internal and external leadership, training and development programs, and scholarships for further studies, open to all Opal HealthCare team.
