Welcome to Epping Meadows Care Community

Epping Meadows Care Community is nestled in a quiet residential suburb in northern Melbourne, with local parks, reserves and the amenities of Westfield Plenty Valley nearby. We enjoy leafy views across the meadow that our Care Community was originally named after, and residents enjoy spending time outdoors on our spacious terrace, tending to raised garden beds or socialising together. 

Care at Epping Meadows

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. Our state-of-the-art wellness centre enables residents to benefit from a holistic approach to wellbeing, rehabilitation and restorative care in a welcoming environment. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at Epping Meadows

Residents enjoy tending our gardens, cooking and participating in creative arts. Music enthusiasts often play our piano and our sewing station is popular with residents who are handy with a needle and thread. When the weather’s good, residents spend time outside on the terrace where alfresco dining is also available. We have strong ties to the local community and our retirement village neighbours are part of our extended family, often joining in activities together.

It’s an environment where you’re free to enjoy your interests, independently or with others, continue to learn and try new things, and participate in Epping Meadows life – so you can enjoy your day, your way.

There are no words as to how amazing the staff and the facility is here! The staff looked after my mum so well for what was going to be the last few months of her life. Communication was excellent as well. Facility is excellent and close to public transport and other places nearby as well.

I’ve had the pleasure to connect and work with some truly amazing staff at Opal Healthcare from Epping Meadows Care Community. My first interaction was with Alice - Wellbeing Manager. Alice is extremely efficient and really looks to stay in touch with opportunities for the residents to be actively involved in community participation and understands the interests of the residents. Alice has connected her team up and empowers them to take a leading part and Akwinder and other staff have been honestly amazing. When they have attended our Artability program you can see the true respect and connection they have with those they bring to the program. They engage with genuine care and encourage and support and you get to see the happiness on participants faces. It’s clear to see quality care is happening and ensuring quality of life and remaining connected to the broader community. Thank you Opal Health and Alice with her supporting team.

I have been at Opal Epping Meadows for over 3 years now and love it here. I have found that this type of living suits my everyday needs, and being able to come and go as I please is an absolute bonus (while I'm still able to). The activities which are set weekly for anybody wanting to join in are well received, and also include bus trips for shopping, sightseeing, and occasionally going to other Opal facilities, etc. Finally I have to include the meals being quality and of plenty, but above all the staff being very helpful and friendly. I'm certain I have made the right decision for myself. Colin Langford

My mother and father are both at Epping Meadows, they have been there for nearly a year. I am so happy that we chose Epping Meadows. The facility, food, medical care and 24hr assistance has ticked all our boxes. They are really enjoying this stage of their life being a resident at Epping Meadows. Epping Meadows sure keeps them busy, providing them with daily activities, outings and fun entertainment. A Big thank you to all the kind staff and especially to Roman, who is a friendly dedicated manager who has made this transition so easy and has supported not only my parents but all the family with this move. I highly recommend Epping Meadows.

Epping Meadows Community Care has a nice pleasant atmosphere. My mother is at the centre as part of the hospital programme. On arrival the staff made my mother most welcome by introducing themselves with a warm smile. The staffs are friendly, kind, warm and patient towards my mother and it has made her stay an easy one. Overall, my mother and I are happy with care and attention given to her.
