North Lakes Terrace Care Community is located in the heart of the North Lakes Health Precinct. Our Care Community enjoys the very best that the Moreton Bay community has to offer, including specialist healthcare, extensive shopping destinations and thriving community clubs. Our Care Community is modern yet homely, elegant and full of life. Expert clinical care is complemented by a lifestyle where residents can socialise with friends and family at our onsite café, enjoy being pampered in our beauty salon, or soak up the sweeping district views from one of our many terraced balconies.

Care at North Lakes Terrace

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. Our memory care neighbourhood provides an environment custom-designed to support the individual needs of residents who are living with dementia. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily living at North Lakes Terrace

Our raised garden beds are popular with residents who like to spend time outdoors admiring the different varieties of plants, and keen gardeners who enjoy growing fresh herbs for cooking. Our chef cooks up the fresh produce in delicious and hearty home-style meals. Outings to nearby Lake Eden and the Redcliffe foreshore are popular, as is maintaining connections with children at the local kindergarten.

Really disappointed in the level of care my nana received here. There seems to be a huge disconnect and miscommunication between the admin staff and the clinical staff. It was hard to get answers to anything and we would have to continuously follow up to see what was going on with nanas care. Concerns were often ignored and weren't written down on her file. Sometimes we received attitude when asking questions. Nana experienced long wait times after pressing the call button to receive assistance. When the weekend would arrive my nana would be riddled with anxiety, as if she had a health issue Friday - Sunday it seemed almost impossible to get a dr or medication filled as it would have to wait until Monday. Family had to fill scripts and bring them up on occasion. North Lakes Terrace Care, please improve your care, this is unacceptable. These people living here are human beings and deserve more respect.

Would give ZERO stars if I could. The care in this place is disgusting. My nana is oxygen dependant and if she had used a small amount of oxygen they wouldn't let her use it again for the day. Couldn’t go on bus trips or out of her room and they wouldn’t accomodate for the fact that she was dependant on oxygen. They also left her in her 4th floor room for a whole weekend because they “ran out” of oxygen. She would ask for pain killers and not get anything for hours . The food was mediocre for the price they charge and the room is very small. The cutlery was ALWAYS dirty. She was there for 6 weeks and we couldn’t have got her out faster . Zero communication to the family about what is happening with her health or well being . Was told she could go out the activities and bus trips never did - we had to take her out ourselves- which is horrible because that was the only outings she had . Again ZERO STARS !!!!!!!!!!!!
