Vermont Views Care Community (formerly BlueCross Livingstone Gardens) is a modern and beautifully designed residence in the heart of Vermont South, conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and local amenities. With light-filled spaces across four floors, our Care Community offers a welcoming indoor-outdoor living environment, complete with terraces, balconies, and landscaped courtyards. Spacious bedrooms, many with scenic views of the Dandenong Ranges, and premium apartment suites with private lounge rooms and kitchenettes provide comfort and independence.

Care at Vermont Views

Our Care Community provides compassionate, personalised care with registered nurses onsite 24/7 and a dedicated wellbeing team. We offer residential aged care, respite, dementia, and palliative care, with a dedicated Memory Care Neighbourhood for those living with dementia. Residents also have access to primary and allied health services, including physiotherapy.

Vermont Views features modern single and premium rooms with private ensuites, a hair and beauty salon, café, library, and multimedia room. Before choosing this place visit early unannounced to learn the truth. Ask the residents about the food. Smell the hygiene. They don't cut nails, trim hair, or clean ears. It's ok for them to sit in excrement for an hour! Toilets are filthy and broken. Place looks nice on the surface but ultimately it's a money making machine. Very rigid rules and will only speak to one family member.

Hi My mum has been at this facility for a number of years and this place is outstanding in the level of care she receives .The Staff always communicate with me about My Mums care needs. I definitely recommend This aged care home. Also Paula in reception has such a friendly helpful nature Thankyou for continuing to care for Mum.

Livingstone Gardens is a beautiful place to live and work! Beautifully appointed spacious rooms with large outdoor spaces - both private and communal. A leisurely minutes walk to local shops and the tram line ensures easy access to the community. The management team has nearly 100 years nursing experience. The care team are kind, compassionate and care! Tai chi, Physio therapy, men’s shed, arts, resident run groups. a salon and nail studio that would make local business’ jealous. I could go on for ever! Highly recommend :)

Really love this place. We have two parents (my in-laws) at Livingstone Gardens. Our thoughts….. The receptionist Paula is a massive delight - so caring and with a lovely sense of humour The lifestyle staff go above and beyond to include every resident in community activities The cafe is a great place to gather with mum, dad and the grandkids The meals are varied and nutritious Any mishaps, even the most minor, are reported immediately to my wife We enjoyed Christmas lunch in a private room this year. A most modest fee, lovely table decorations and every want catered for. Livingstone Gardens is a highly recommended aged care facility!

My mother and I are at the beginning of our aged care journey and yes there have been lots of issues and concerns so far ……and plenty more to come I have no doubt…. but I want to put on record the appreciation I have for the professional team operating at Livingstone Gardens…. A culture of genuine respect for residents and their families has been well established in a positive, caring community atmosphere and it makes such a difference! It is great to see it in action as well as words! Issues and concerns have been taken seriously when raised and action taken where necessary and /or possible My final comment is for the first person you meet when arriving at Livingstone Gardens who represents so admirably all of positive aspects of mum’s new home, who has made us feel so welcome and helped us, the newcomers ,in a hundred different ways .
