Professor Peter Shergold AC - Chair (Independent)
Professor Peter Shergold was appointed to the Board as Chair on 1 December 2014.
Previously Chancellor of Western Sydney University and Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Peter now Chairs uLaunch, Australians for UNHCR, James Martin Institute for Public Policy and NSW Education Standards Authority. He is NSW Coordinator General for Settlement and is on the Board of Angus Knight and Susan McKinnon Foundation.
Dr Victoria Atkinson - Director (Independent, clinical)
Dr Victoria Atkinson was appointed to the Board on 16 January 2019.
Victoria is Chief Medical Officer at Healthscope. Building on a career as a cardiothoracic surgeon, Victoria has combined her clinical knowledge with an executive career spanning the private and public sectors of healthcare. Previously, Victoria was national Chief Medical Officer and Group General Manager of Clinical Governance for St Vincent’s Health Australia and Director Medical Governance at Melbourne Health. Victoria is currently a Director of the Medical Indemnity Protection Society.
Simon Ellis - Director
Simon Ellis was appointed to the Board on 23 October 2023.
Simon has been investing in the global healthcare and infrastructure market for over 30 years. He currently acts as a Senior Advisor to a number of companies involved in the private equity market, most notably for InfraBridge, a diversified mid-market infrastructure manager. Previously Simon was a Partner at AMP Capital’s Infrastructure platform and was Chief Investment Officer for ING Infrastructure Funds.

Thomas Teo - Director
Thomas Teo was appointed to the Board on 3 October 2013.
Thomas is the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at GK Goh Holdings Pte Ltd. Previously he was with a regional private equity group responsible for direct investments in the Asean region, and worked at Ernst and Young, Singapore. He is the Chairman of Assisi Hospice, a Catholic Charity providing palliative in-patient, day and home care services in Singapore.
Bernie Poh - Director
Bernie Poh was appointed to the Board on 1 January 2019.
Mr Bernie Poh is CEO, Allium Healthcare Holdings Pte Ltd. He has over 20 years experience in the private and public healthcare sectors. Previously he served in various senior executive roles, which included CEO of Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Parkway Holdings Ltd (now IHH Healthcare Berhad) and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the formerly SGX-listed Pacific Healthcare Holdings Ltd. During his employment in the public sector, he was a director at Health Sciences Authority.

John Lucey - Director
John Lucey was appointed to the Board on 1 November 2023.
John Lucey is Chief Investment Officer of Resolution Life Australasia and has 25 years experience in the financial services industry in Australia and overseas. Previously, John was Chief Investment Officer at Avant Mutual Group, and held senior roles at ING Investment Management, ANZ Wealth, and Bank of Ireland Asset Management in Dublin.
