Our Care Community provides compassionate, personalised care with registered nurses onsite 24/7 and a dedicated wellbeing team. We offer residential aged care, respite, dementia, and palliative care, supported by access to primary and allied health services, including physiotherapy.

Daily Living at Avondale Heights

Avondale Heights features modern single rooms with private ensuites, a hair and beauty salon, a Coffee Club, landscaped courtyards, and well-appointed communal spaces. Residents can enjoy music, art, entertainment, and cultural events, along with seasonal menus, pet-friendly areas, and regular bus outings—helping every resident enjoy their day, their way.

Avondale Heights Care Community is a most caring community. My mother has been there for nine years. Administration are good to deal with. Nursing Staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Kitchen staff do an amazing job with meals. The carers know their residents and treat them with respect and kindness. I highly recommend this venue for aged care.

My mother and father have both transitioned into care at blue cross. We are very happy with the care they are recieving. Staff are very good at keeping families up to date and helping to settle them in. Rooms are nice staff friendly and approachable . Its a warm welcoming place.

Mum is very well cared for by staff and admin. Nothing has been too much trouble and the tasks are performed cheerfully and smiling. They often have a hug for mum and refers to her caters as beautiful. The food is very tasty and well presented Can only give Riverlea a glowing report and a big thank you from the family.
