15th October 2026 | 4 min read
Today, we welcomed the residents, families and team of Lidcombe Place Care Community to the Opal HealthCare family.
Formerly known as Clendon Care, Lidcombe Place Care Community has a long and proud history, family-owned and dedicated to serving local older people and families in western Sydney with quality care.
Lidcombe Place Care Community is conveniently located close to local shops, restaurants, cafés and transport links.
Reflecting the rich multicultural fabric of the local area, Lidcombe Place offers a familiar, welcoming environment. Understanding our residents’ diverse backgrounds and experiences enables high-quality personalised care, with an experienced leadership team and nurses on duty 24/7, together with a compassionate team of carers.
It’s a place where relationships matter, where residents become friends, and enjoy the simple pleasures that help make life meaningful, whether that’s spending time in the garden, sharing a cup of tea, knitting together or enjoying time with loved ones.
Opal HealthCare now offers care to older people at 56 Care Communities in New South Wales.
