Rehabilitation for our community
15th February 2022 | 5 minsOur Opal HealthCare wellness centres are not only available to residents, but also to members of our wider community.
Joe is just one example of someone benefiting from being part of our Care Community. Having undergone extensive rehabilitation following a stroke, Joe found he was still unable to achieve his goal of regaining sufficient functionality to return to his business. This brought him to Ashfield Terrace Care Community’s wellness centre where he’s been working with physios on a program aimed at getting him back to the work he loves.
From Joe’s perspective, he’s enjoyed being able to work on his rehabilitation in a supportive multigenerational environment where the focus is on nurturing overall health and wellbeing. Click to watch as Joe shares his story.
