Achieving improved mobility
19th May 2021 | 2 mins
Residents like to stay active at our onsite wellness centre in Springwood Terrace Care Community, where a team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and occupational therapists support residents in achieving improved mobility, independence or overall well being, all in the comfort of home.
John is the first to the centre every morning, ready to ride the bike and complete his strength and balance circuit. He is a great supporter of the centre and always brings a positive attribute to every class. John has been attending now for a year and has reduced his falls, improved his strength, balance and vertigo.
His arthritis is a thing of the past and no longer restricts him walking freely around the home. Amazing commitment John! - Kayla Wing, Senior Physiotherapist
The update on John's progress first appeared in the April 2021 newsletter of our partners HCA
