What do maintenance team members do?

As part of our maintenance team, you'll help ensure our Care Communities are well maintained and running smoothly. Depending on your role, you may carry out preventative maintenance, complete routine repairs, maintain gardens and outdoor spaces, drive residents to appointments, or support resident activities. You'll work closely with our Care Community General Manager and other team members to create an environment where residents can feel safe and comfortable.

You'll also follow important safety and compliance requirements, including workplace health and safety (WHS), infection control, fire safety, manual handling practices and, where relevant, chemical storage and handling procedures. Some roles may also require computer skills, a strong driving record, or experience working with quality management systems.
