Carseldine Green's Wellness Centre opens its doors
12th November 2021 | 3 min read
Our new Wellness Centre at Carseldine Greens Care Community officially opened its doors last week, welcoming all who wish to participate in our wellness program.
Jeremy, who has worked with a number of our residents before, has joined us as the principal physiotherapist from Healthcare Australia (HCA). We are all excited to welcome Jeremy and his team back to our Care Community to lead our wellness program here.
We have hit the ground running and the HCA team have already seen 20 of our residents over the past week for an initial assessment. Our residents are enjoying setting their goals and exploring the different equipment that is available to them. We also have families who have expressed interest in having their loved ones try out our Wellness Centre. Each wellness program is tailored to suit the needs and interests of each resident or client.
Jean, the loving wife of Robin who resides in our Memory Care Neighbourhood says, “I know that the physical activity will be great for my husband, and being in the company of Jeremy is another added benefit given he is such a gentleman.”
Our Wellness Centres focus on delivering personalised reablement and restoration programs to support the long-term health and happiness of our elders. To date, we have opened 18 Wellness Centres across 4 states with plans to open up more in the new year.
