Welcome to Berkeley Vale Care Community

Berkeley Vale Care Community is located on the Central Coast in a peaceful spot near Tuggerah Lake and Chittaway Bay, with local beaches and parkland around the corner. Berkeley Vale Private Hospital and medical amenities are across the road and Westfield Tuggerah is just 10 minutes away. Our extensive gardens are a feature of our Care Community, with lovely sun-filled courtyards offering leafy views, and plenty of space to socialise, take a walk, or enjoy quiet moments of reflection. Our Care Community is inclusive and welcoming, and our companion model of care fosters a sense of family and belonging among residents.

We offer a relaxing environment with the compassionate and personalised care of 24/7 registered nurses. Our experienced leadership work alongside a capable and confident team to offer residential aged care, palliative care, dementia care and respite care. Allied health professionals also visit regularly. We recognise that understanding the big and the little details about how you like to live each day is important to us – so that we can help you feel at home, have the right support and live your best life in our care.

Daily Living at Berkeley Vale

Our resident pets are an important part of our Care Community and provide comfort and companionship to residents. Our aviary is especially popular and is looked after each day by resident volunteers. With expansive gardens on our doorstep, spending time outdoors enjoying our gardens and nature is part of the rhythm of our Care Community.

My mother is in this facility and I couldn't ask for a better placement. The facility itself is modern, always clea, fresh and bright. With lovely courtyards, entertainment and games rooms. But what really sets this place apart from the rest IS THEIR PEOPLE. 300 odd bed facility, they're clesrly busy but the level of professional care and more importantly THEIR PATIENCE AND EMPATHY towards the residents is outstanding. It shows everytime I visit, people are happy, both residents and staff. Just today I received a photo at work of my mum sitting with a woman who'd brought in a little Shetland Pony for the residents to interact with. This facility and its people are all exceptional, my mother is suffering from dementia and since going into this facility has actually improved because of their love and care. A huge thank you to all the people that go above and beyond every day to make the last stage of people's lives as lovely as possible !!! Your team ROCK !!!❤️❤️❤️

My wife ulis in respite care at the moment the staff cannot be faulted they are caring really caring made my wife's stay a real positive event they could not be more helpful. I will keep you posted as sadly this respite care may have to change to permanent care. When my times comes this is the place I want to be

A big thankyou from Paul Smith (resident and Vietnam Veteran) to all the staff and volunteers who put on such a wonderful service on ANZAC day last Friday. Paul had a fantastic day and would like to congratulate all those involved in making it a special day for him.
